There is a calm about this place that I have always loved. There is always a spot nearby to sit and sort out your thoughts or a stump to split as an aid in anger management. No matter what your burden, it does not seem as large once you come through the front gate and scratch the shoulder of a friend.Many creatures, both 2 and 4 legged, have come to ThunderCreek to heal. Some have had external wounds, some wounds were not so easy to see. Most have found comfort in the simple life they found here. The willingness of our friends and family to lend a hand when and where needed has created an environment that helps work out the kinks in one's life. I won't say it is always a quiet process but the love and acceptance of our rag tag "group" makes it a safe place to deal with life.
